How Do I prepare my horse for a session?
For Massage:
- Have them in the barn, stall or corral before I arrive.
- Make sure they are completely groomed.
- Don’t spray them with chemical fly spray. I will use my own. Most commercial fly sprays can make me sick as I absorb them through my hands.
- If possible the horse should be warmed up with a light workout before I arrive. Just enough to loosen & warm up their muscles. A regular lesson or schooling session is fine too if there is time for them to completely dry out.
- Please feed them before I arrive and have hay on hand for snack during the session.
- Crossties are not required. Hand held is preferred as it allows the horse to communicate with me better. It also allows them to drop their head lower.
For Aromatherapy/Raindrop/Symphony of the Cells:
- Have them in the barn, stall or corral before I arrive.
- Make sure they are completely groomed.
- Don’t spray them with chemical fly spray. I will use my own. The chemicals can interfere with the essential oils.

For Saddle Fit:
- Have them in the barn, stall or corral before I arrive.
- Make sure they are completely groomed.
- Any fly spray that you normally use should be applied shortly after I arrive to maximize the effectiveness during the session.
